The organisation
International Association for Dental, Oral & Craniofacial Research, Malaysian Section (IADR-MALSEC) is an organisation formed in Malaysia that promotes research in all aspects of oral and the related sciences. Its members consist of dental health professionals in Malaysia working in various academic institutions, as well as from other organisations.
IADR is a non-profit corporation organised under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States of America. The membership of the organisation is open to any individual who is interested in Dental Science and Dental Research.
The formation of Malaysian Section is approved by the Southeast Asian Division of IADR. And the formation of the Division itself is under the approval of the main organisation which is the IADR.
Dear Esteemed Members of IADR Malaysian Section, friends and colleagues,
Firstly, as the newly elected President of IADR MalSec for 2022-2024, I would like to thank all of you for entrusting me with the responsibility to lead IADR MalSec for the next two years.
My heartiest gratitude to IADR Malaysian Section immediate past-president Assoc Prof Dr Siti Mariam Ab Ghani and the Executive Committee 2020-2022 for their outstanding leadership, commitment and dedication in carrying out the mandate and responsibilities of the association.
Among our most awaited activities is the annual Scientific Meeting. We have successfully continued to conduct the planned programmes in 2021 and 2022 even with the onslaught of the COVID-19 pandemic. With the scientific meetings, we have consistently strived to create a conducive environment for the exchange of ideas, cutting-edge research findings, and networking opportunities among dental professionals, academicians, researchers, and students. In the upcoming two years, we have lined up the usual Scientific meetings with exciting talks from leading experts in the dental fraternity.
On behalf of IADR Malaysian Section, I thank each of our members and look forward to more events to promote and support research that advances oral health. The Objectives.
To promote broadly the advancement of research in all branches of dental science, and in those phases of the related sciences which contribute directly to the development of oral health.
To encourage and facilitate co-operative effort and achievement by, and mutual helpfulness among, investigators in all nations in every division of stomatology to the end that dentistry may render cumulatively a more perfect service to humanity.
